The neck has a 1960s-era SlimTaper D-shape with a pau ferro fingerboard with "crown inlays", a 25.5" scale length, 1.68" nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod. The EJ-00SCE Coupe also has a pau ferro J-200-styled "Moustache" shaped bridge.
The EJ-200SCE Coupe is powered by the Fishman Presys II preamp and new Sonicore pickup system. It includes a separate battery box.
