The 2014 œLtd Ed œHummingbird Artist features a gorgeous flame maple top (Blueburst) or a traditional select Sspruce top (Faded Cherry Sunburst) with hand-scalloped bracing. Like original vintage models, the Hummingbird Artist has mahogany back and sides, a favorite tonewood for the best acoustic flattop guitars. The reverse-belly solid rosewood bridge has a compensated saddle for a warm, rich tonal response that helps this full-sized dreadnought really sing.
The 2014 œLtd Ed œHummingbird Artist neck is made from solid Mahogany with a 2-way adjustable truss rod for perfect intonation. The solid Rosewood fingerboard has pearloid parallelogram inlays and features Epiphone's trademarked SlimTaperTM neck profile that makes the œHummingbird Artist easy to play for hours of rehearsal or stage time. Epiphone's new "Deluxe" tuners feature classic vintage looks but with an improved 18:1 ratio for greater tuning accuracy and stability. The Rosewood bridge and compensated saddle ensure years of tuning stability and accuracy.
