Comments about Ernie Ball 2833 Hybrid Slinky Roundwound Bass Guitar Strings:
I've been using flat wounds for a while so I wanted to try something different. I tried some Elixir rounds on my Ibanez SRX390 and seem to be alright but I still wanted to test some other strings. I put the EB Hybrids on my Ibanez BTB400QM and really like the feel of them. They give my bass more punch and a brighter sound. When I want a warmer, deeper sound I just dial in the bass controls and its there. Overall I like these strings a lot. I usually have a little problem with "finger noise" when I use rounds but it is minimal with these. I think I'll stick with these strings. Try them out, see what you think. Good sound, good feel and good price.
