The Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay5 Special H 5-string electric bass celebrates the original, introduced in 1987. The select hardwood body features enhanced, rounded contours for greater comfort in any playing position. The sculpted joint of the roasted maple neck provides uninhibited access to all 22 stainless steel frets. The overall weight has been reduced to provide improved overall balance and a more enjoyable playing experience. The StingRay5 Special’s sound is powered by a Music Man humbucker with neodymium magnets, bringing you more output and a wider range of sounds. A newly designed 18V 3-band preamp for extra clean headroom lets you dial in everything from modern punch to classic, vintage tones. Additional appointments include custom Music Man tuners, a vintage Music Man steel bridge plate and matte black, gold or chrome hardware. Comes with a custom Mono case.
