Brimming with the classic '60s tone that rocked the world.
Fender Custom Shop '69 Stratocaster pickups produce one of the most revered guitar sounds in popular music history-the full, punchy late-'60s blues rock tone that ruled the era from Monterey on the West Coast to Woodstock on the East Coast. Because of the clarity and transparency created by the unique coil wind and magnet structure, the '69 pickup design works especially well with pedals allowing the low end to thump and the high end to soar.

Comments about Fender Custom Shop 1969 Strat Pickup Set:
Don't be afraid to buy these just because I didn't rate it at 5 stars. They really are very good sounding Custom Shop pickups, but I will only rate something a 5 if it is perfect. I have a set of these in my American std. Strat. I like these pickups especially well in the neck position. Not only is the tone fat, but I would call it flabby. Great for blues. I rarely use the middle position no matter what pickups are in a Strat. I like the #4 position as it has the jangly Strat tone, and I also like the bridge position for some good bite. You may need to adjust your tone knob down on the bridge position or it may be too trebly or transparent for your taste. Over all a very good product which is initialed and dated by Ms. Ybarra, the Queen of Fender pickups.
