The Fender Custom Shop Limited-Edition Tomatillo Stratocaster Special Journeyman Relic electric guitar is a spicy new model that's sure to surprise and delight players with a taste for strong sonic seasoning. All that heat radiates from the classically stylish Strat design, supercharged with Custom Shop hand-wound Tomatillo neck and middle pickups (middle is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity for hum cancellation), and an extra-punchy Custom Shop hand-wound Ancho Poblano Strat bridge pickup. It’s an extra-lively pickup combination with superb dynamics, especially when paired with the Fat ’50s Strat 1/2 blender wiring, which delivers punchy attack with a bouncy bloom and dynamic blending control of bridge and neck pickups.

The 2-piece select alder body wears a Journeyman Relic flash-coat lacquer finish. The 1-piece rift-sawn maple neck has a comfortable off-center V-shaped profile ideal for wraparound hand positioning, topped by a vintage compound 7.25"-9.5" radius fingerboard with 21 narrow-tall frets. Additional features include a 5-way pickup switch, three-ply parchment pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree with tall metal spacer. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
