The Foxgear Multitune is, the only Polyphonic tuner able to work in polyphonic mode with any open tunings. We utilized a powerful Analog Devices DSP giving us the higher computing power to run our note detection software and a digital compressor that allows you to perfectly tune every single note just by gently striking the strings only once, Multitune will give you the time necessary to perfectly adjust the tuning with a “not- measurable “ accuracy.
The Multitune is destined to be the choice in chromatic/polyphonic tuning. The Multitune boasts relay assisted, true-bypass circuitry with zero effect on your clean signal. With the bypass on, the audio path (100% Analog) is not affected and the signal goes thru, letting you quickly check the tuning on its big display, working in polyphonic mode. Then, when you press the footswitch, it shifts to the Chromatic mode letting you fine tune the strings. Incredibly easy, when you are playing, if the six lines on the Multitune display are green, everything is fine, if you spot some little red lights, then just press the footswitch, it will mute the signal and fix the problem.
The Multitune is standard tuned at A4=440hz, and there is just one switch… It’s that simple! The Multitune features a small footprint, top-loading jack configurations, super bright and large display suitable for any lighting situation, and true bypass with gold pin relays. The Multitune by Foxgear operates on 9-12v, draining less than 100mA, suitable for stringed instruments in the range of A0 to C8. Oh yeah, one more thing, it’s damn good looking too.
