OVERVIEW

A factory-modded version of Leo's traditional single-cutaway with a neck humbucker.

The G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy is a factory-modded version of Leo's final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on axe. For players looking for the unmistakable warmth of a classic humbucker in the neck position, the Bluesboy delivers with a well-balanced pairing of a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover alnico humbucker and a single-coil G&L Magnetic Field Design bridge pickup designed by Leo Fender. Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil MFD bridge pickup delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the neck ˜bucker and you'll discover all the charismatic warmth you could ask for. Put ˜em together and you'll find yourself immersed in exploring the limits of this guitar's surprising versatility.

The Bluesboy's hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, while its 12" radius lets you bend notes deeply and its Plek-dressed medium-jumbo nickel frets deliver silky playability. The moment you open the luxurious custom-fit Tolex hardshell case made by G&G Quality Case Co., you'll be greeted with a stunning instrument.

Comments about G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy Electric Guitar:

This guitar sounds as good as it looks. The tones are complex and rich. All this AND it stays in tune no matter how heavy handed you strum/ pick. I've had guitars that cost twice as much and weren't half the guitar this one is on all fronts.

Comments about G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy Electric Guitar:

ASAT Classic Blues Boy gives me all the tones from jazzy mellow to twangy and biting I would look for in a rock or blues sound. It has really good sustain to boot. The neck finish and frets feels great. The build and parts are very solid. This guitar should age well and also maintain its awesome look. The clear orange finish and cream guard looks so sweet it begs to be played constantly.

Comments about G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy Electric Guitar:

I've owned this guitar for a couple of months. I currently own a couple of Gibson's and a Fender American Tele. Right out of the box this guitar played like a dream. Top notch quality and playability. I wasn't completely sold on the Seymour Duncan Seth Lover but after adjusting to my taste I'm liking it more than the 57 Classics in my Gibson's. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!
Be advised though. There is a mistake in the specs on MF. The fretboard radius is 9 1/2 not 12. This actually worked out for me because of ease of playing chords up the neck.
