Developing the ASAT Special at G&L was a golden chance for Leo Fender to make what he felt were essential changes on the first guitar he ever designed. The Fullerton Deluxe model brings together some of the most time-honored combinations from G&L's custom order menu. Featuring Leo's jumbo Magnetic Field Design (MFD) single-coil pickups, the guitar has a warmer, wider frequency response tone that maintains traditional single-coil sparkle, but delivers less noise with higher output. Still made in the factory in Fullerton, California known as "The Birthplace of Bolt-On", the Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Special is versatile enough to handle any genre from blues, jazz and country to metal. Available in Butterscotch Blonde and Old School Tobacco Sunburst body finishes, they also feature a polished Vintage Gloss finish with an incredible look and feel on the maple on hard-rock maple neck. Includes gig bag.
