Comments about Gator Standard Tripod Mic Stand with Single Section Boom:

One caution: the main vertical pole adjustment is extremely sensitive, and will loosen with barely a twist. So, if you desire to adjust the stand make sure you're supporting the top of the pole. Because unfortunately, there is no natural resistance built into the adjustment so the entire contraption will come crashing down at light speed and smash your fingers or give you a blood blister. Very inconvenient. I think they could have thought that one through a little better.
