Introduced in 1962, the Gibson's Dove has gained a reputation a guitar with a bold, unique look ideal for rhythm players and backing vocals with great tonal qualities. Its warm, smooth sound compliments the human voice exceptionally, and its long scale, combined with the Sitka spruce top and maple body combination, yield a louder, crisper sound than its predecessor, the Hummingbird.
This special, limited-edition model features the classic Dove body shape, but is now bound in a beautiful abalone top trim, giving it a sweet custom look. And it's dressed for rock-and-roll with Gibson’s famous ebony finish. Other appointments include a headstock crowned with gold Grover Rotomatic tuners and finished with a “Limited” truss rod cover, bone nut and tusq saddle, and a three-piece round maple neck. Easy plug-and-play performance is also an option with the onboard L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup system.
