I bought this to use with the SaxMute. It doesn't not work well for that. It attaches well but holds the sax in a way that the hand holes of the SaxMute are in the wrong place. The two halves of the Saxmute are impossible to keep together when used on the stand.
BTW, the SaxMute works well when used with a neck strap.
As just a sax stand, I like it a lot. It is waaaay more secure than my older and shorter Hercules stand.
