Comments about Humes & Berg 134 French Horn Tunable Straight Mute:
I own at least 10 different horn mutes, a couple of which cost over $200 each. My H&B tunable straight mute is my primary mute. It's durable (unlike some fancy "work-of-art" mutes), the tuning mechanism has never stuck (like in some pricier models), and it plays in tune and projects in all registers as well (or very nearly so) as any other mute I own. It's a far better mute the the H&B original non-tunable version, and it's a terrific product for the price.
