Comments about Ibanez DT420 Destroyer Series Electric Guitar:

Great guitar well made and sounds great right out of the box. I own many makes and from many countries and I prefer a look that is striking rather than traditional. This one fit the bill but still gave a nice traditional finish ta boot. I have no complaints at all about this guitar. For the price as is it can be setup and played right away. I changed out the bridge pickup to a Seymour DD as that is my go to pickup, but not because I really had to. I think if you love a rock looking guitar but a solid well made player...regardless of the country this one is worth the money all the way.

Comments about Ibanez DT420 Destroyer Series Electric Guitar:

Ibanez has been synonymous with quality. Having worked in a music store in the 80's, I worked with Charvels, Gibsons Kramers but Ibanez guitars were always tops in quality control. Right out of the box, they would be intonated and ready to be played while guitars twice its price needed to be intonated and actions adjusted. Fast-forward to today, I receive my Destroyer and upon inspection, I find that the intonation is slightly off, and it needed a minor adjustment. Aside from that though, the neck is fast and the pickups are HOT!! I initially had plans to swap them out with some Duncans but I think I'll play it as-is for a while. Smoking-hot looks, awesome tone and great playability. For the price, this axe is a GREAT deal!
