With the release of the FR800, Ibanez has developed the ultimate machine dedicated to metalcore players. The Ibanez FR800 boasts a bevel cut on the body, which provides the axe with a sharp look. The Wizard III roasted maple neck and pau ferro fretboard give a well-balanced tonal character from low to high end. With luminescent side dot inlays, you’re guaranteed on-point playability while performing on darkly lit stages. The black block fretboard inlays and black headstock logo add to the FR800’s striking appearance.
The Ibanez FR800 is also equipped with the powerful Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups, which deliver a bright and expressive tone. The Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups transmit a quick bottom-end response for picking and fast riffing, along with a dynamic midrange and precise high-end articulation. The coil-tap switch unleashes the Aftermath pickups’ full output (for a modern voice) or a lower output signal (for a vintage tone). The innovative Ibanez mono-rail bridge minimizes cross-talk between strings and facilitates flawless intonation. The Gotoh locking tuners provide tuning accuracy and help you change your strings quickly and efficiently.
