The Q52PB Q Standard from Ibanez was made to maximize tone, performance and playing comfort. This diverse and versatile electric is made with a poplar burl top and nyatoh body paired with a Wizard roasted maple/bubinga neck for long-term durability. The 3-piece neck is topped with a roasted Birdseye maple fretboard that has been heat-treated for a balanced attack and rich sustain and has jumbo stainless steel frets. Equipped with dual Q58 humbucker pickups designed specifically for use in headless guitars, the Q52PB provides a clearly defined sound, facilitating excellent tonal balance through all frequencies. The lows are powerful without being muddy, and the highs are bright and clear, but never harsh.
Additional features include a Mono-Tune bridge and a proprietary custom string-locking mechanism provide a vast range of tones to explore. Ultimately, this series offers a diverse and versatile enough feature set to attract not only the modern, technical guitarist, but also players who may have never even considered a headless guitar before.
