Strat in character, but with expanded fidelity, balanced frequency response and no hum.
The Strat-equivalent to the JBE dual blade Danny Gatton Tele pickups, the S-Deluxe Chunky Bridge's tone is absolutely Strat in character, but with greatly expanded fidelity and a balanced frequency response. Of course, hum and noise are completely eliminated.
These pickups are incredibly sensitive, giving you a wide range of tones and output levels simply by adjusting the distance of the pickup from the strings. With S-Deluxe pickups, the bridge pickup has the strength, snap, and twang typically experienced only in Telecasters
The unique staggered double blade design of the bridge pickup, common to all JBE single-coil sized bridge pickups, eliminates drop-outs on the outer strings. All S-Deluxe pickups are designed to fit standard Strat body routs with no modifications to the instrument.
The pickups utilize 4 conductor shielded cable to allow for any possible wiring combination and are supplied with wiring diagrams and mounting hardware to facilitate installation. The S-Deluxe Chunky bridge pickup is a more muscular version of the S-Deluxe bridge pickup that offers a fatter tone in the bridge without going all the way to the "Fat Strat" tones of a full humbucker, preserving the SSS vibe and in-between tones (albeit with a bit extra beef from the bridge pickup.)
Includes S-Dlxe Chunky Bridge Pickups in white, mounting hardware and wiring diagram.

Comments about JBE Pickups (Barden) S-Deluxe Chunky Bridge Guitar Pickup for Strat:
As a long-time JBE S-Deluxe user, I love the standard bridge pickup, but sometimes I found myself wanting something with a little more mids and sustain in the bridge, while not wishing to move completely to a humbucker because I wanted to keep the single-coil clarity. So, when I found out about the Chunky, I had to try it. I popped the Chunky into the bridge position of my main Strat. Here's the deal: this pickup gives superb rock tones in the bridge position, which is exactly what I have been looking for. The mids are slightly more pronounced than the standard S-Deluxe bridge, and the highs are maybe slightly more rounded. The sustain is definitely higher, but the pickups are perfectly clear, nothing like a Humbucker. The guitar still sounds like a Strat, but it has the rock tone in the bridge I have been looking for for several years. In summary, I highly recommend the Chunky!
