If your mute cork dies, this is what you need!

Comments about Jo-Ral Trumpet Mute Corks:

This was an easy solution to the corks on my metal mute drying, cracking and falling off. It's a much better than using scotch tape that I used on a job to keep them in place. These new ones have an adhesive backing that stays right where you put the cork. And, they are inexpensive!

Comments about Jo-Ral Trumpet Mute Corks:

I also reviewed the K&M Flugelhorn stand. These mute corks were added to that stand where they remain firmly attached to assist the "fit" of the horn to the stand. I'm sure they're good for mutes too but haven't used them for that

      Simple, effective solution

Comments about Jo-Ral Trumpet Mute Corks:

My favorite straight mute ((35+ year old King) had corks which were definitely showing their age (crumbling away). Remove old corks, scraped away adhesive residue, placed new corks on using built-in adhesive, placed mute in trumpet for several hours. Excellent adhesion to the mute, minimal filing needed. Good option for breathing new life into a tried and true mute.
