Good Horn for Beginners, but...

By

I've bought 6 of these 3/4 Jupiters for my beginners. I had previously bought the Yamaha 105, but the price rose too high for my new school's budget. The Jupiter's case is very nice (w/ wheels), but the valves are hard as heck to open and especially close - I have to help all of my students with getting them back in after they are oiled. I have trouble getting them back in. Perhaps this was a design flaw 3-4 years ago and has now been rectified. Also, my students seem to all have issues finding an easy tonal center. The Yamahas didn't have these issues.
