Great structured gig case

Comments about Kaces Structure Series Polyfoam Trumpet Case:

I bought this case to use as a gig bag because I wanted something with more protection than just the foam padding you get in the typical bags. This case has a rigid polyfoam structure that is very light but offers the protection that I was looking for. The padding on the inside holds the trumpet snug so it doesn't slide around at all. There are large rubber feet on the end so if you stand it vertically it is not resting on the nylon material. The pockets are fairly shallow. I keep a towel in the outer one. The inner one has some organizational pockets for pencils and valve oil. I can fit a straight mute in there sideways but nothing larger. Besides room for more mutes (not a major issue) the only other minor drawback is the mouthpiece holder is a plastic insert. It is smooth but I worry that it might lead to some damage to the finish on a gold plated mouthpiece. I keep my gold ones in a pouch in the pocket because of this. All in all it fits exactly what I needed it for.
