It features acacia back and sides, which accentuate the warmth of its resonant cavity and a solid Sitka spruce sound board that defines its crisp, clear trebles. It has a rosewood scoop bevel cutaway for upper fret access and a rosewood armrest. A mahogany/rosewood rosette accents the top, which is in turn framed by its rosewood/black front and back binding.
Black/White front and back purfling continues its appointments, as do a maple back center strip and a maple butt center strip. A mahogany neck provides a sure, straight and true playing experience and a rosewood headstock with Maple Islander name identifier add the crowning jewel.
Other features include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, an Islander picture logo on fingerboard, Gold Islander close-geared tuners with black buttons and a black PPS nut and saddle. It ships with D’Addario strings to ensure great sound.
