Comments about Kanstul 1537 Series Bb Trumpet:

I compared the Kanstul 1537 side by side with a Bach 37. The Kanstul had much better tone quality. The valves were about the same, both were fast. The Kanstul was easier to play and cost $300 less! Outstanding value.

Comments about Kanstul 1537 Series Bb Trumpet:

For years I only played Bb when I had to. I always used my C trumpet. Not now, this horn is great as far as sound and response over the whole horn. I instantly had an easy double G and above and the low range was big without being tubby sounding. Think of a modern Mount Vernon Bach, that is how I would describe this horn. I didn't even know the make or model of this trumpet when I played it against about a dozen other horns and very quickly picked this one out of the whole lot. I went through them all again and made the same decision very quickly. The valves are great and only took a few weeks to really break in. It is easy to change mouthpieces and go from a good orchestral or classical recital sound to a cutting lead sound for a big band. I have never had a better all around Bb than this Kanstul 1537. Zig Kanstul really out did himself this time. In past reviews I have always said you should try the horn in question but this one you should buy!!!
