Marching horn with a Concert sound

By

I played on one of these at a local high school. I was like having a Willson 2950 that was made into a marching euphonium!! This thing gets a HUGE, true euphonium sound. It takes a TON of volume before the sound gets bright... These things rock! Very easy to play as well ... free blowing, in tune, and resonante in all registers. No longer do euphonium players have to suffer just because it is marching season!!!

Fine instrument

This instrument found a home in our program. We started with two and now we have four. We change every thing over to this horn. The pitch and tone is great. Very good case. Students enjoy playing this instrument. Don't worry about the horn being too heavy. My students have no problem. I bet they won't over blow it.

Free blowing, fun to play, great sound.

I am currently learning trumpet. However, I wanted a big bore, low brass instrument as well. The Kanstul marching euphonium is very free blowing for me. It's easier than my Olds Opera Trombone, which is itself a large bore ( larger than .547 ). The the Kanstul is a .593 bore. It also feels more free blowing than my Olds Studio Baritone horn. The valves move very nicely. A bit heavier than the baritone, as expected and as specified, but its weight is nicely balanced.
