Kay Vintage Reissue Guitars Barney Kessel Gold "K" Signature Series Artist Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar
OVERVIEW
Experience the rebirth of an iconic artist signature instrument.
Designed in 1957 by Barney Kessel, the K6700 Artist features a compact 15 1/2” wide body and is the perfect guitar for Jazz Ensembles, Lounge or Combo Groups. The Artist is a reproduction of Barney Kessel's favorite go-to recording guitar when working with artists such as Ike & Tina Turner, Elvis, The Beach Boys and in "The Wrecking Crew" with Phil Spector. The Kay Guitar Company has reissued the Artist and recreated this versatile instrument to echo the Swinging ‘50s Jazz era. An all around versatile guitar perfectly suited for jazz and blues, it's also a great guitar for Americana, soul, R&B and more. The K6700 build quality combines solid body ruggedness with a warm "jazz box" response and tone quality. Case sold separately.
