Experience the rebirth of an iconic artist signature instrument.
Designed in 1956, this full-size hollowbody archtop was the first performance choice for legendary jazz and studio guitarist Barney Kessel. Kay was the only guitar company Kessel ever endorsed with his signature, and they are proud to reissue this instrument in response to player's requests. With a full-sized, 17"-wide body and scatter-wound, wide-bobbin "Kleenex Box" pickups it delivers rich, warm sound that's great for jazz soloing or comping, and equally at home for bluesier and funkier genres as well. The classic "Kelvonator" headstock and period details provide a plenitude of cool '50s vibe as well. Case sold separately.MPN: K8700VB
