OVERVIEW

The sonic power of the TRITON series in a portable keyboard.

The KORG X50 61-key synthesizer is an easy-to-move, lightweight, and affordable keyboard. It delivers 512 professional-quality sound programs produced by the HI synthesis system from the acclaimed TRITON series. The Korg synth has 470 multisamples, 518 drum samples, 16-part multitimbral, dual polyphonic arpeggiators, and 384 combinations constructed of up to eight programs each. The keyboard's powerful effect section has four separate processors: one for insert effects, two for master effects, and one master EQ processor. Multi Mode allows the Korg X50 synthesizer to be played from an external sequencer as a sound module. It also has 4-channel audio output, a USB port, and plug-in sound-editing software that allows you to tweak and program the Korg X-50 keyboard even from within your DAW software.

sounds great for the price

Great sounding keyboard for the price. More rich and full sounding than other keyboards in its price range. Learning to dial up different sounds is fairly easy, but learning to edit and create new patches has been difficult, and takes a fair amount of time. The edit screen is tiny and all the parameters, effects, etc, are abbreviated which makes it difficult to read and comprehend. There are lots of editing parameters which is cool but time consuming. The keys seem cheap and flimsy at first use but I've been bangin on this thing pretty hard for a few months now and have had no problems. Overall IÆm happy with it.
