OVERVIEW

Alan Baer F Tuba!

The Kodiak F Tuba is the newest addition to the Meinl Weston line. Developed in cooperation with Alan Baer, principal tuba of the New York Philharmonic, this F tuba offers the player great color of sound with amazing intonation and fantastic dynamic contrasts. The Kodiak features a .748-inch bore with a .810-inch bore in valves 4, 5 and 6.
The 6460 Kodiak Tuba”developed by the think-tank of Meinl-Weston, Gerhard A. Meinl, and Alan Baer, New York Philharmonic Orchestra tubist”is designed to be a big, free-blowing "Baer" of an instrument in the tradition of the "Baer" CC Tuba.
