Comments about Musician's Gear Electric Bass Case Violin Shaped:

I would've rated this higher but I only just received it and it has not had a chance to be used, yet to know how well it will hold up. I bought it for my wife's Rogue bass as the gig bag she had was too tight a fit and ripped at the seems. I did have to do the mod to the neck brace that I found elsewhere online. The brace was too high and positioned the head way up above the case. Cut three quarters of an inch off the bottom of the brace and the guitar fits nicely. There are four screws holding the brace. What they don't say elsewhere is there are also nails but they are more like staples and will pull out when you pull up on the brace. Cut them off from the inside before installation of the shortened brace. The only other thing I noticed so far is the side seem where it meets the bottom was opening up. Rolling it down with a wallpaper seem roller looks like it might have done the job. I don't know what kind of adhesive was used but some clear silicon may be necessary if it does not stay on its own. We play out at a festival in two weeks and that will be the first time this case goes out. It will be a definite improvement over the old gig bag and the price was right.
