The P. Mauriat PCL-821 is the culmination of a long research and design project at P. Mauriat that involved the input of P. Mauriat’s leading acoustic engineers and some of the world’s most respected players. As is P. Mauriat’s culture or instrument design, assumptions were challenged and innovations were welcomed. The final manifestation is a professional-level 18-key clarinet worthy of any seat in any orchestra.

The PCL-821 is afforded a high level of care and detail as its select premium wood tube is shaped and the keywork applied. It possesses tone rich in harmonics with an even response through the registers. The ringless bell ring gives it big, round, warm tone that lends itself to a variety of repertoire. It has spectacular intonation and deft keywork. Keywork is available in silver or rose gold plating.
