The Philharmonic Maple Field Drum from Pearl is ideal for situations where volume and projection in a large ensemble are needed. Designed with the classic "Rope Drum" sound in mind, along with modern performance features, the Pearl Maple Field Drum includes chrome-plated Classic Tube Lugs, triple flange hoops and an SR505 strainer, which has captive adjustment touchpoints and mechanical improvements of the three independently adjustable snare assemblies. Full wraparound guitar wire snare assemblies provide ultimate sensitivity and tone expression, even in the softest ranges, while a Quick Release Snare mounting system maintains individual snare adjustment settings on all three assemblies for fast and easy snare head replacement and maintenance.
