The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 four-channel controller picks up where the longtime favorite DDJ-1000 left off, bringing a slew of performance-friendly features with it. Ready with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro plug-and-play functionality, FLX10 is loaded with game-changing Track Separation technology, letting you quickly manipulate vocal, drum and instrumental (other instruments) elements of any track in your library.
Whether you use Serato or rekordbox DJ software, FLX10 is equipped with powerful stem-splitting capability via color-coded VOCAL, DRUMS and INST buttons to control each element. The jogwheel displays on the FLX10 rip a page from the club-standard CDJ-3000 media player. Each on-jog display offers four modes. Deck Info shows essential track information and a general waveform, whereas Waveform mode shows zoomed-in versions for both decks. Artwork mode displays the artwork from your track’s metadata, and DJ Logo lets you display your own personalized insignia, available via the Image Transfer Tool for your PC or Mac. A first on a Pioneer DJ controller, multicolored jog rings surrounding both jogwheels can be customized to your color-coordinated style—or to indicate the track elements that are playing when stem splitting on the FLX10.
A rekordbox-exclusive feature, Mix Point Link simplifies your mixing workflow by letting you link mix points on tracks, so the next one kicks in at just the right time. The FLX10 boasts a four-sensor Magvel Fader crossfader, updated from the DDJ-1000’s two-sensor version, for precise adjustments with the smallest movements.
