The Ergo-Soloist Doumbek features Remo's Ergo-Drum External Tuning System. This unique design seats the drumhead directly on the Acousticon drum shell's bearing edge. This intimate contact with the drum shell produces unique, pronounced doum bass tones and bright tek tones.
In development for two years, this doumbek has a specially designed drum shell with stunning metallic finishes that look terrific under stage lights. The optional shoulder strap (sold separately) allows unlimited mobility during play. It can be played in the traditional horizontal position or between the knees using the external counter hoop. It also features Remo's Skyndeep Fish Skin graphic drumhead that sounds and looks great.
