Chambered Alder Body Resonates

The Z-One's chambered alder body reduces weight while boosting resonance. Strategic chambers under the pickguard enhance acoustic properties, creating a hollowbody-like resonance. Alder provides a rich, full tone that complements the Railhammer pickups. Together, the wood and pickups generate a thick yet ringing tone that sustains for searing leads.

Fast Neck and Ebony Fingerboard

New Railhammer Billy Corgan Z-One pickups pump out high-output tone with silky highs, based on the original Billy Corgan signature pickups. Billy Corgan aimed for pickups suited to The Smashing Pumpkins' heavier songs and these deliver—fat midrange, thick rock tone and biting distortion. The custom etched covers add attitude. For reference tones, Corgan mentioned "Geek U.S.A.," "Quiet," "Jellybelly," "Zero," and "Bodies." These pickups give you that massive, distorted tone.

Dial in your tone with the Z-One's volume and tone knobs, pickup selection switch and passive bass contour. The bass contour tightens or loosens low end, re-voicing the pickups.
