Lightning audio interface with XLR and 1/4" inputs for iPhone and iPad.
The Saramonic SmartRig DI is a compact audio interface that enables you to connect a professional microphone, guitar or instrument to any iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch via the Lightning port.
There’s an incredible number of amazing music-making apps that turn your Apple device into a pocket-sized recording studio, and the SmartRig DI lets you use them to their full potential. You can also plug in a professional shotgun microphone, wireless lavalier or any microphone to vastly improve the sound quality of the videos you shoot. Content creators, journalists and podcasters can use the SmartRig DI to make excellent sounding recordings anywhere they happen to be.
A built-in high-quality microphone preamp gives you all the juice you need to get great sound, and you can dial in the perfect level with its nicely-sized gain knob. Condenser microphones can be supplied with +48 volts of phantom power, which makes it possible to use almost any kind of microphone. A headphone output on the SmartRig DI lets you hear your music apps in real-time, and to listen to the playback of your videos.
This is a hardware device that was built specifically for use with Apple products, and it offers the same level of ease-of-use. You just plug it into the Lightning port, turn on the power switch, and launch the apps of your choice. Connect any kind of guitar or microphone and let your creativity run wild.
The combo input on the SmartRig DI allows you to plug in either 3-pin XLR or 1/4” (6.35mm) connectors. The 1/4” (6.35mm) input is impedance-matched to provide the best sound quality for electric guitars, basses, and acoustic instruments with pickups. A headphone jack enables you to hear your sound — whether you’re laying down a track on a new song, recording a podcast episode in the field, or shooting a viral video for YouTube. The headphone output can be used to add a 1.8” (3.5 mm) headphone jack to an iPhone 7, 8, X, XS and XR.
An affordable and portable device with impeccable sound quality and functionality.
