Comments about Shure SM35 XLR Performance Headset Condenser Microphone:

I was somewhat hesitant about purchasing, but once it arrived and plugged into the system, the quality of sound and its clarity impressed me greatly. Used the microphone on two systems I use and the results were the same - great quality sounding mic. The adantages are great and as a guitar player and vocalist, the mic frees you from a mic on a mic stand. I thought it would be a nuisance with wearing glasses, but an adjustment here and there makes it comfortable to use. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a headset mic that hooks directly to a mixer or PA system instead of wireless. Great product. I only wish the product came with a case for protection when going out to play. Just have to watch how one packs it when loading up.

Yes I love it and it sounds great but it's so fragile. The first one I had was defected so I'm so glad I stuck with same product.

Comments about Shure SM35 XLR Performance Headset Condenser Microphone:

I bought the headset, because I was tired of not having the flexibility to move around the drums while singing. I now have a better posture, and can sing with a stronger voice, now that I can sit correctly. Lugging around a mic stand, and then trying to get it to stay in one position without it shifting, is no longer my problem.

          Didn't get a signal

          By J

          from Michigan

Comments about Shure SM35 XLR Performance Headset Condenser Microphone:

According to Shure's web site this should work with a corded system. I thought that was what the xlr connection was for. I tried two of these and didn't get a signal through my Behringer PMP 5000. I do not have a bad port on my mixer. Maybe it's not compatible with my unit. I rated it for comfort. Good for wearing glasses. The SM10's headband is clunky and not good for glasses. Wished it would've worked for me.

Comments about Shure SM35 XLR Performance Headset Condenser Microphone:

Didn't know if I was going to like a headset mike-I'm not Madonna; but it is truly amazing. The voice quality is excellent, the signal is very hot, and the comfort-especially compared to singing in a mike, is wonderful. Noise rejection is excellent, too. No "on/off" switch. I suggest actually having the mike lightly touching the side of your mouth. As a guitar player, I can actually look around and not be glued to a mike on a stand. Highly recommend.
