Industry standard reeds, among the world's most popular.
Van Doren Traditional series baritone sax reeds are characterized by a thin reed tip. The result is a quality of pure sound that is balanced by a solid vertical column. A French-style file cut further distinguishes these reeds. They are among the most popular in the world and are great for all-around use, and are popular with classical and jazz musicians, and with students and professionals alike.
Renowned for their quality and consistency, this is the standard bearer for saxophone reeds the world over. They are affordable, reliable, and very often the go-to reed for everyone from students to professionals.

Comments about Vandoren Baritone Saxophone Reeds:
Get these. No really-- try them (2 strength) with a 105-115 opening mpc. I've found that the intonation and tone balance is better with these than with many of the jazz specific reeds.

I bought this same product from our local music store and paid 50 percent more than I paid through your company. I absolutely love the savings!!!
Comments about Vandoren Baritone Saxophone Reeds:
I uses strength 3 and they work wonderfully. It takes a little bit of playing to get a good feel for the reed but once you do they're fantastic. I highly recommend these reeds for anyone from a beginner to an advanced player. I've been playing on them for 5 years now and I'm so glad I found them
Comments about Vandoren Baritone Saxophone Reeds:
I have been using these reeds for years and they have taken me through college. They are very easy to break in and last a long time! The tone quality is perfect and never to airy like many other bari reeds. Great for classical playing. It is rare that you will get a reed that doesn't work well.
Comments about Vandoren Baritone Saxophone Reeds:
These reeds are amazingly flexible for any kind of playing. I use the Vandoren Traditional on nearly all instruments I play (all saxes, Bb and bass clarinet), and they contribute a great, full-bodied tone on all of them. On bari specifically, these are perfect for concert band and classical playing; they allow for blending in to a concert band and any of its instrument groups very well, producing a tone that can be manipulated easily to blend in with any instrument, but is still vibrant and whole. The reeds are highly consistent, almost always allowing for a full dynamic range and the full instrumental range as well, even far in to the altissimo register. The reeds also last an unbelievable length of time before giving out, and are usable even with (though definitely hampered by) minor chips or cracks in the reed. I have found that since Vandoren's introduction of the humidity controlled 'flo-pack', opening the individual packets of reeds several days before playing leads to a longer reed life. I suggest this reed to any and all musicians as the best possible choice for the baritone saxophone.
Comments about Vandoren Baritone Saxophone Reeds:
I've been playing sax throughout my musical career, a year on alto, 2 years on just tenor, and 2 1/2 years alternating tenor and bari, and I've used Vandoren Classic reeds for the majority of that time. They give me a smooth dark tone, and allow me to outplay the sousaphones in my marching band. They last incredibly long, and can withstand a blowhard like me. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to sound better and feel better while playing their sax.
Comments about Vandoren Baritone Saxophone Reeds:
Yeah they are so awesome. My band director Mr. Bobby Richardson gets them for me and i just got a new reed and I won't switch it out till the end of May, because they last so long. Shout out to The Sabine High School Cardinal Marching Band of Texas.
Comments about Vandoren Baritone Saxophone Reeds:
I play baritone sax for the wind ensemble there. I was recommended these reeds a few years ago, and they were diffidently a couple steps up from what I was using. After I played on these reeds, I just wanted to dance, since they made beautiful music. I have made such beautiful music with these reeds, the cane and quality cut just shows in the amount of heads that turn when you play it.
