At first glance, Washburn's Bella Tono S9V Studio acoustic-electric guitar is an obvious pairing to the S9 boasting the same eye-catching high-gloss Charcoal Burst spruce top, and figured walnut back and sides. The S9V differs in that it features a cutaway body design, Barcus Berry LX4 pickup system for amplified possibilities, and ebony fingerboard with breathtaking exotic wood vine inlay.
The Bella Tono S9V Studio body design makes for an incredibly comfortable playing experience while managing to maintain the tight lows, focused mids and clear highs commonly associated with larger body sizes. Its full 25.5" scale length extends an undeniable familiarity to the player and the satin-finished, modern C profile of the okoume neck is smooth and cozy feeling in the hands.

This shape was carefully designed specifically to retain the best attributes of a full-sized body, while delivering the best attributes of a smaller body.
