Perfect Fit!!! 1920's Martin Handcraft Imperial

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

My son has 2 old school Martin Saxophones he uses for concert band and marching band. We had the original cases, that have almost zero protection, and they desperately needed to be replaced. We have tried case, after case, after case and because of the older design of the saxophones, none worked. Well, someone told us about the WolfPak, and the ProTec XL. We bought one of each for his birthday. Let me tell you, both fit these horns like a glove- like they were MADE for them. My son is in LOVE with them, as they are so much lighter than the original cases, and the neck and horn fit beautifully into the spaces created for them. I would recommend this for anyone with an old school sax needing a good case for it, any day of the week!

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

Wolfpack's Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case is a good serviceable case as long as you don't need to carry a ton of extra stuff in the case. It has a one inch deep external zipper pocket of about 8" x 16" size. Construction is decent and the handle is strong and well attached. The back strap brackets are not super strong, but adequate. I got a good price on this and have been pleased with the purchase.

Wolfpak Alto Sax Case is SUPER

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

I got this at the super discount price and I could hardly believe how well made this case is. It's made with heavy duty fabric with excellent sewing, solid handles, and zippers. It comes with 2 adjustable belts for carrying over your shoulder, and these are a bit on the light side, but still good enough, so it's not a major problem. The fit for my aged Selmer Alto Saxophone is perfect - solid padding without making the entire case too heavy. The workmanship is really great and it is made in Vietnam. I can easily see how at the normal sale price of $99 it was already a good price. Highly recommended !

    Nice Case For The Money

    By

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

I bought the case because the vintage case for my 1937 Conn 6M was showing a lot of wear inside and out. This sax fits nicely inside the horn cavity but I couldn't close the case without removing the foam bumper on the lid that contacts the key guard on the bell. This was not difficult though. Also, I had to be a bit creative to put the neck in the slot for it...the 6M neck is too long to fit neatly. However, the neck can always be placed in the bell. I could have paid a lot more for a case that would not work much better for this model saxophone.

    Excellent Sax Case

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

True...it won't fit ALL Alto Saxophones, but that doesn't make it a bad case. My old Armstrong sax wouldn't fit either because is has a larger bell and a larger flare around the bell. This is because Armstrong used Keilwerth's design while making its first saxophones (Armstrong and Keilwerth had a partnership back in the early 80's). Currently this case is being used to protect by beautiful Buescher Big "B" alto! Nice case. If you need a case for your Armstrong or Keilwerth Alto..go with a ProTec XL.

    An OK case

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

This is a good case but I have a few complaints about it. First of all every time that I opened the case my saxophone neck would be on top of my saxophone, which ofter a while started to bend the keys! Then I picked up my case and saw that one of the zippers had fallen of and the other one was bent. Not long after I got it some of the interior lining was torn. All under normal use! Anyway if your looking for a temporary saxophone case for a decent price then get this but I would recomend spending a little more money and getting something nicer.

    Pretty Good Case

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

I have had this case for about a year now, and I have had very few problems with it. The case is very durable, and you won't get water inside of it unless you drop it in a pool. The only problem I have had with it is that the straps that come with it aren't that comfortable for long distances, but other than that it is a great case.

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

My old Conn fits in this case very well, I have not found anything wrong with it. It is a very stout fabric case. The only thing I would like is a bigger front pocket.

    Doesn't MY Alto Sax

    By

Comments about WolfPak Polyfoam Alto Saxophone Case:

It may be a nice case for someone, but my old Armstrong Alto Saxophone won't fit in this case. The size is too small and the shape isn't quite right. I didn't think Alto Saxes varied that much...
