Yamaha's LC4 Music Lab offers music educators an intuitive way to teach groups of students with diverse learning needs. The LC4BASE bundle provides everything needed for eight students and one instructor, with the option to expand up to 48 students using the LC4EXP add-on kit. The exciting LC4WIFI KIT, sold separately, enables wireless control of the entire lab from an iPad using Yamaha's LC4 Controller app.
The LC4 Music Lab system gives instructors complete control over classes of up to 48 students. Using CM500 headset microphones, students can practice in isolation or work together as a group. The lab supports Yamaha keyboards, digital pianos, brass, string, and percussion instruments with stereo headphone outputs.
The LC4BASE bundle includes all cables, I/O boxes, hubs, and the control unit to get started quickly. An enhanced grounding system reduces noise, and the control unit stores up to six classroom configurations. The convenient "Mega Group" feature connects all 48 students with the press of a button.
For instructors with an LC3 or LC2 lab, the LC4EXP add-on kit provides everything needed to increase capacity by eight students. However, the LC4WIFI KIT and wireless iPad control are only compatible with the LC4BASE system.
PC and Mac inputs for each student station support computer-assisted music instruction. An optional rack mount kit secures the control unit, and all components fit into a wheeled equipment case for easy transport and storage.
