Great reinforcement for bands and performance groups.

These Yamaha C115V 15" 2-Way Club Concert Series Speakers were engineered to perform flawlessly, delivering a powerful musical experience for both audience and musicians. Featuring exclusive custom-designed electronic components and made in the U.S., they have the capability to rock hard every night and come back for more. Low-gloss, tough-as-nails elastomeric coatings shrug off wear and tear for a consistent professional appearance whether you're around the corner or on the road.

Paintable elastomeric spray coating easily fits any dcor and can be customized with your band's name or logo! The steel grilles are foam-lined with acoustically transparent material to provide a more subdued appearance.

Assembled by skilled technicians, each cabinet is designed for better low-end response and includes heavy steel handles and sturdy pole sockets to make moving and positioning easy. The custom drivers from Eminence feature high-strength curvilinear cones and Kapton voice coil formers, plus oxygen-free copper voice coils and oversize strontium ferrite magnets to provide high power handling and long life. 15" and 18" drivers use cast aluminum frames to support the massive magnet structure, eliminate flex, and dissipate heat.

The titanium diaphragm compression drivers are mated to 90 degree x 40 degree custom-designed horns. Internal electronics feature over-built crossover networks and overload protection. Connections are dual Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" jacks.

These C115V 2-way enclosures feature cast-frame 15" drivers and 2" tweeters. Frequency response: (-10dB) 55Hz - 16kHz. 500W program handling, 1,000W peak. Sensitivity: 99dB. 19"W x 28"H x 15"D. 60-1/2 lbs.

Comments about Yamaha C115V 15" 2-Way Club Speaker Pair:

Bought a pair as a core system for our Lion's Club Theater (about 80 seats) and for moving to outdoor venues here in Alaska (in the summer, of course...). To ensure compatibility, I use them with a Yamaha amp and separate mixer, and the system sounds terrific! Professional quality sound, no noticeable distortion or coloration, plenty of SPL to get the job done. We want to build the theater system up to a 7.1 eventually, will use 10" speakers for sides and rear, and 18" subwoofers for the .1 channel, all Yamaha. Why not? It's budget-friendly, and works!

Comments about Yamaha C115V 15" 2-Way Club Speaker Pair:

I've used these speakers for everything form solo acoustic shows to full bands in venues of all sizes. I've powered them with several different amps and mixers and they always sound great. The best part is that I no longer feel the need to use a 15 band EQ to fine tune the mains like I did with my old Peavey SP2G speakers.

I've used them for keyboards, bass guitars, acoustic guitars, drums, and vocals, and have never been let down.

My only issue is with the weight. These things are very heavy due to the solid construction and large speaker magnets. The weight is quite understandable, but if you have a hard time lugging around a 70lb speaker (each), then you may want to keep moving. These bad boys aren't for the squeamish. They are built like tanks.

When I bought these, I chose between these and some similarly priced EV speakers. I've still not heard the EV's in action, but I really can't imagine a much better sound in this price range.
