If you are wearing the AMBEO SMART HEADSET and have it connected to an iPhone, you are ready to record high-quality 3D audio. Simply open up any App that can record audio such as Apple’s Camera App and press record. The AMBEO SMART HEADSET will automatically be detected, bypassing your iPhone’s built-in microphone.
High-tech meets convenient simplicity
Simple and easy to use, the AMBEO SMART HEADSET delivers all of the convenience and simplicity of a mobile device. Featuring Apogee’s proprietary Soft Limit and mic preamp, plus precisely tuned A/D and D/A conversion, and an Apple MFi-certified Lightning connector, the headset integrates seamlessly with all compatible Apple iOS devices. A version for Android will also be available at a later date.

The AMBEO SMART HEADSET delivers on the exceptional sound quality you expect from Sennheiser and provides ultimate comfort thanks to a special ear hook design, while the extremely stable in-ear fit minimizes structure-borne noise. An additional built-in microphone lets you take calls and operate voice control on your iOS device.
With a special dedicated app you can program the Smart Slider of your AMBEO SMART HEADSET with various functions (default function is mic sensitivity control), adapting it to your individual requirements. Control Advanced Settings with Free iOS App Use the AMBEO SMART HEADSET App to access advanced features and customization options. Control your input level for 3D recording, toggle between EQ presets or configure your Transparent hearing settings. Customize the Smart Slider for an array of functions, from quickly launching your favorite audio or video recording app to toggling the Interact Mode to communicate with those around you. Voice Prompts are enabled by default for an audible confirmation of any changes you make via the controls on AMBEO SMART HEADSET, however this can be disabled from the App if desired. The App is available for free from the App Store, but is not required for normal operation of AMBEO SMART HEADSET.
