Comments about Aquarian Hi-Energy Drumhead:
I bought this snare head around December. I have been playing it ever since. No signs of wear at all, which I am very pleased about. I normally will wear out a G2 coated snare head in about 3-4 months, and that was when I was doing a light pratice and gigging schedule. Now I play live 4-5 times a month and practice 4+ times a week with my band. This head has a very high pitched crack when tuned correctly. Its very dry sounding on my Tama 5.5x14 Stewert Copeland sig. brass snare. Un miked it cuts through our mesa and 5150 full stacks. It has a very complex sound which I like, its crack is very high pitch, but when in the studio recorded with a beta57 its got the crack but it also has a lot of body, making it sound like its a big fat snare with a wicked high crack
