Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K450FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
I play in the orchestra pit for local community theater groups. I needed an amp that would fit into a small space and still be heard. It's both compact and lightweight. It has three inputs with individual volume controls so I don't need a sub mixer. The 45W amp and 10" speaker put out enough power to keep up with other musicians and cut through for solos. It has a built-in effects processor. This might be useful for vocals or miking an acoustic instrument. The 99 effects are a collection of reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, and multi-effects with preset decays, delays, etc. as appropriate. It doesn't have a bass port. Instead, it has a vent in the back. As a result, low frequencies tend to roll off a bit. However, there is an output to connect to a subwoofer. Another nice feature is that there is a line out jack on the back so you could connect directly to a mixing console. Be sure to visit the Behringer website for a detailed description and specs.
