About the Clarinet
The clarinet family possesses the widest playing range among modern
woodwinds and lends its voice to jazz, classical, and chamber music. Clarinets possess a cylindrical core that
shapes its unique timber and a single reed which is made from the cane of a
specific grass or is synthetically composed.
The B flat Soprano Clarinet is the most popular but bass clarinets and E
flat clarinets are also commonly used.
