This guitar features custom-designed EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups mounted directly to the basswood body with an arched quilt maple top. With their focused voicing and excellent note separation, these pickups deliver dynamic lead tones as well as articulate rhythm parts. The Wolfgang Special QM has a quartersawn maple neck designed for fast, comfortable playing. Its hand-rubbed satin finish lets your hand glide smoothly along the back of the neck. Jumbo frets give you plenty of space for bendy leads and energetic riffing.

The 12"-16" compound radius fingerboard has a flatter curve toward the nut for comfortable chording, while retaining a more rounded profile up top for nuanced string bending. Jumbo frets extend right to the edge of the fingerboard for outstanding upper register access.
