Well I got this guitar and was overwhelmed. This was my first electric. For the price you may think it is a starter guitar, no. I've played starter guitars and let me tell you this isn?t one of them. This guitar was pretty out of the box. Now the thin strings have a good twangy blues sound, and the heavier strings have a fuzzy thick sound. I'm gonna use this for blues and rock...but this guitar could work for metal too if you mess with the tone and amp. This guitar is awesome. If I was startin out or have bean playing a 'while I would get this guitar it's a step above beginner guitars, buy it!
This has to be one of the best electric guitars i've ever played! Awesome tone, great price, everything you could need with such an afforable guitar!
This guitar is great right out of the box. Get a good tune up on it and you will be rockin! I was very pleased with the sound of this guitar. I have the heritage cherry sunburst, very beautiful guitar; the pictures don?t do it justice. Awesome price also.
This guitar is really good for the aspiring artist in the musical arts. The craftsmanship of the guitar is not as good and the Gibson model, but is more than you could ask for combined with the warming tone and smooth feel of the neck. You can?t beat the price for what you get. I will admit that it needed some tightening of the screws and the bridge pickup needed some lowering because it was simply too high and produced a buzzy sound but that was easily fixed. I still love this guitar and I highly recommend it especially for the beginners as it could easily be used for a gig guitar for concerts.
I think this is a cool guitar. I got the ebony with the cream parts. I didn`t like the cream parts one bit. Well, in all honesty I hate the color. I bought all black parts for it and put them on. Then it looked hot. Then I got dr red devil strings(which are red) and they're hot. The only thing I don't like about this guitar is that the frets are too big for me and it doesn't sound right when I play a bar chord. But, if you have big fingers, then this is the perfect guitar.
