OVERVIEW

Small, light and moderately powered.

The Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb is all-tube 22-watt, 1-12 combo amp that delivers the coveted tone of late '60s Fender amps along with enhanced features for today's players. Its hand wired tube sockets, custom-made Schumacher transformers and all-tube circuitry provide an authentic vintage sound. The '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb also has reduced negative feedback for increased touch sensitivity and faster overdrive. With two distinct channels—vintage and custom—this amp offers tonal versatility. The vintage channel provides classic Deluxe Reverb tone while the custom channel, based on a modified Bassman tone stack, offers greater flexibility with pedals. Both channels feature tube-driven reverb and tremolo. For rock infused tone, this amp is equipped with a 12" Celestion G12V-70 speaker.

Faithful Recreation of a Legend

Fender designed the '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb as an homage to the late '60s Silverface amps, complete with the same style of faceplate and silver-turquoise grille cloth with aluminum trim. From the hand wired tube sockets to the vintage-spec Schumacher transformers, this amp delivers the vintage vibed tone and feel that Fender is known for.

Two Amps in One

The '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb provides two distinct channels for sonic versatility. The vintage channel produces the classic Deluxe Reverb tone that guitarists love. The custom channel, based on a modified Bassman tone stack, offers enhanced tonal flexibility when used with effects pedals. Both channels feature tube-driven reverb and tremolo so you can use Fender's legendary effects on either channel.

Overdrive and Touch Sensitivity

Fender hot-rodded the '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb with reduced negative feedback, which gives this amp increased touch sensitivity and causes it to start overdriving faster. The modified circuitry and single 12" Celestion G12V-70 speaker provide a definite rock edge.

Legendary Tone and Built to Last

Like the original amps, the '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb is hand-built to exacting standards using high-quality components. It provides 22 watts of power from two 6V6 tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. This all-tube amp delivers the coveted tone of a classic era in an amp built for years of great performance.
