I really liked my old pro-tec trumpet flight case; I took it all over the world on the road on planes, trains. Finally after about ten years the all important pocket zipper quit. Working, I kept many things in the pocket, Harmon mute, cell phone, plane tickets, ect.
So I went looking for a new case exactly like that one I went on WWBW in search of a replacement so I ordered a current pro-pac contoured trumpet flight case. When I got it, I didn't like it, it was all different there was a molded holder for the trumpet fine but nowhere to put all my little items inside the case nothing but the trumpet and one mouthpiece. And the pocket was too small for my Harmon mute.
So I sent it back to WWBW and they were cool and gave me a refund, so I didnÆt give up and kept looking till I found this the gator GL trumpet case. This case is basically identical to my old case. The two foam holders inside holding the trumpet in place and all that extra space inside for all my goodies. Valve oil multiple mouthpieces and any thing else I need to carry.
The all important zipper pocket was ok for my Harmon mute. And cell phone and plane tickets ect. Plus there is this elastic cord on the outside of the zipper pocket and a little change zipper pocket.
