OVERVIEW

Banish the buzz, hum, and transient noises other units don't catch.

Decimator
Noise Reduction System
ISP Technologies presents the latest generation in Noise Reduction technology, the Decimator Noise Reduction System. From the original inventors of HUSH noise reduction comes the latest, most advanced, patent pending, state of the art technology in real time noise reduction. The HUSH system, as well as all other noise reduction systems suffers from one major problem inherent in their design: The system cannot be immediately responsive to very short-term staccato notes. The typical downward expander noise reduction system suffers from a dead zone in the release response characteristic which causes a compromise in tracking both fast decaying notes and long sustained notes. The Decimator design offers a novel approach to tracking the envelope of the input signal called Time Vector Processing. Due to this novel approach in controlling the expander, the Decimator system will instantly respond to short staccato notes and, at the same time, will provide a very slow ripple free control of long sustained notes. This means that the Decimator noise reduction system is the most transparent and highest performance noise reduction system available.Easy to Use
The Decimator Pedal is extremely easy to use; simply inset the Decimator at the end of your chain of existing pedals or, insert the Decimator Pedal in the effects loop of your amplifier to clean up the noise present at the amplifier input as well as the noise in the amplifiers pre-amp section. Packaged in a rugged, beautifully polished smooth chrome chassis, the Decimator pedal offers reliability, performance and beauty in one compact pedal. Audition the Decimator today and experience the highest level of performance available in a noise reduction system.

I just got this today. I must say that words can't describe this pedal! It's simply amazing. I had hum from other pedals...gone. Silent.. no tone loss. I had EQ's rammed at max settings; same with my distortion pedals. DEAD SILENT! No cut off. The only way I did get cut off was putting a pedal after the ISP, but this was fixed by adjusting the control on the ISP pedal!!! It can go anywhere in your loop and still kill the noise. I've had a Boss NS-2 many moons ago and it nothing to compare. I also had a Rocktron Hush built into my Rocktron Xpression rackmount processor which was pure garbage..did not one darn thing for me. The only pedal I didn't try was an MXR noise killer. Who needs too after you touch this piece? I'm really picky with hiss, hum and noise, this thing is a godsend.

This pedal does get it's job done. It takes out the unwanted low decibel noises and sounds. But it does it while doing something else. If your a tone freak i don't recommend getting this pedal. It will take out the noises while giving your tone MORE BASS, and that's when it's both on and off.

Simply put, THE best noise reduction system I have ever used, possibly ever. Never mind the Boss units, MXR units, Rocktron units, whatever - this will be all you will ever need.

I'm absolutely blown away by this...

This deserves about 10 stars... Fender users listen up... Buy this thing! Anytime you want to experiment with a little more dirt in your signal, this thing will let you make noise "without making noise" quite simply... If you're a fender player like me and love the single coil snap and pop with some dirty tones or lots of deafening dirt, that Pink Floyd to Metallica sound and tone is right around the corner, this thing will really help you achieve your tones...

ISP... Why settle for less?

This product is everything I thought it would be and more. My amp has no hum, I get no feedback (unless I want it) and my notes keep there sustain. A friend of mine had one and that is why I bought mine. It rocks. One MAJOR WARNING: Do not run this in your effects loop. Run in inline from your guitar to your amp. I have a Peavey XXX. I turn the volume and gain way up. The pedal has got to be the best thing in my collection.

Works Like A Charm

I have a Behringer SN1000 noise reduction rack unit which I use in the studio for final mixes. The Decimator uses the same principal as the Behringer - very, very fast reaction times. The Decimator also works great on single coil noises. It's like masking, but faster when the signal drops. The noise is always there when playing, but when quiet, it smoothes out fast and the threshold is adjustable. Run it at the end of a chain or as an effects loop. It's a keeper!

Great!!

It is great. Removes any noise. My bass player tried it out and it removed his flange, chorus, and compressor noise. I'm able to play my Strat at high gain with no noise. Absolutely wonderful!

I just got mine in today - took less than a week to get. Gets rid of the noise, NO tone loss, better than the Boss NS2 imo. Looks sharp with the chrome body, easy to use. Highly recommended for pedal noise reduction!
