Amati

Amati has a long-standing tradition of fine instrument makers that dates back to the 18th century in the city of Kraslice, in the Czech Republic. Over the years, many individual instrument factories consolidated and in September of 1945, a cooperative of manufacturers was established and given the name "Amati". In 1948, all instrument production was nationalized, and the city of Kraslice gradually became a center of wind instrument production.

With its rich heritage, Amati instruments are manufactured from quality materials with a high level of hand craftsmanship and modern technology. Amati instruments are sought after for their beautiful sound quality, intonation, reliability, workmanship and reasonable price.

Woodwind & Brasswind is proud to offer Amati instruments, with more than 55 brass and woodwind instruments for band, orchestra, and marching band. One of the most popular items, the Amati ATR 314 Series Bb Pocket Trumpet, is available in silver, lacquer, red, black, green and blue. All Amati items ship internationally and are backed by The Woodwind & Brasswind’s 110% Price Guarantee which guarantees you won’t find the beautiful and high-quality Amati instruments at a lower price anywhere else.
